Job Title: Safety Coordinator
Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Reports To: Project Manager

Position Summary

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting and promoting workplace health and safety programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role helps identify hazards, conduct safety inspections, coordinate training, investigate incidents, and foster a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace safety programs and procedures.


• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work practices.


• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.


• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and injuries; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.


• Coordinate and deliver safety training and orientation programs for employees and contractors.


• Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation.


• Monitor compliance with applicable safety regulations and company policies.


• Participate in emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response activities.


• Track and report safety performance metrics and trends.
