Job summary

GOOD JOB CREATIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Manager to lead the M&E QS team across multiple projects, delivering robust commercial outcomes.

You will oversee BQ development, tendering, cost planning, and contract administration while advising on design reviews and value engineering. Strong leadership and knowledge of Singapore forms are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant M&E Quantity Surveying experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Strong experience in BQ preparation, tendering, cost planning, contract administration, variation management, and final accounts.
• Proven ability to review M&E design drawings and provide commercial guidance.
• Experience in value engineering, cost optimization, and procurement negotiations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management with familiarity in Singapore standard forms (PSSCOC, SIA, FIDIC).
• Experience with BIM-based quantity take-off and cost management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying team across multiple M&E projects to deliver commercial activities.
• Oversee Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, tender submissions, procurement strategies, subcontractor evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
• Provide commercial input during the design development process, including reviews, value engineering, and cost optimization.
• Manage contract administration, including progress claims, variations, budget monitoring, forecasting, cash flow, and final accounts.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, BIM, project teams and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and buildable solutions; mentor the QS team.
