Job summary

E+HPS Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and contracts for our M&E construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and financial risk control.

You will detail BQ takes off, prepare budgets and cash flows, conduct site visits, negotiate contracts, source sub-contractors, and certify progress claims to support timely delivery within budget. Join a professional team committed to high standards and practical, value-driven cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying (M&E Industries).
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and estimation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and is a team player.
• Have good attitude with high level of initiative.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and software (e.g., Glodon).

Responsibilities

• Detail BQ takes off, cost estimate and preparing tender submission.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential cost issues.
• Analyze, negotiate contracts, cost control, tenders, and variations order preparation.
• Sourcing for sub-contractors and supplier and negotiate price with them.
• Control the budget when doing procurement.
• Submission of progressive claims and variation orders to the client.
• Evaluate and certify sub-contractor's claim.
