Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor/Manager to lead the M&E QS team across multiple projects. You will supervise BQ preparation, cost planning, tender submissions and provide commercial input during design development.

You will collaborate with Design, Engineering, BIM and Project teams to ensure cost-effective, buildable designs, lead cost optimization programmes, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and profitability while mentoring the QS team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of M&E quantity surveying experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong BQ preparation, tendering, cost planning and final accounts experience.
• Detailed understanding of M&E design, Design & Build (D&B) project delivery, and engineering coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QS team across multiple M&E projects.
• Oversee BQ preparation, cost estimates, tender submissions.
• Review M&E design proposals and provide commercial input.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, BIM and Project teams for cost-effective designs.
• Lead value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Monitor design changes and their impact on cost and cash flow.
• Manage procurement strategies, subcontractor evaluations, and negotiations.
• Oversee contract administration, progress claims, variation orders, final accounts.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
• Mentor and develop the QS team.
• Any ad-hoc duties.
