Job summary

A dynamic construction company in Singapore is looking for an experienced M&E Manager to oversee all mechanical and electrical works. The right candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards and manage project timelines effectively. Candidates should have a degree and around 15 years of relevant experience with main contractors. This is an office-based role with competitive salary between $8,500 and $10,000.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all M&E works to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Lead submission and approval of M&E drawings and method statements.
  • Supervise M&E staff to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Review specifications and issue RFIs to resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor site progress and troubleshoot M&E issues.
  • Manage M&E meetings and participate in projects.

Job Title: M&E Manager (Office based) (ID6041)
Location: City Hall
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Salary: $8,500-$10,000

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all M&E works to ensure compliance with standards, codes, safety regulations, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Lead submission and approval of M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements in line with project schedules.
  • Supervise and guide M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Review technical specifications, drawings, and design intent; issue RFIs and resolve discrepancies with consultants/clients.
  • Monitor site progress, inspections, variation orders, and troubleshoot M&E issues during construction and DLP stage.
  • Manage M&E meetings and participate in Design & Build projects with consultants and architects.
