Responsibilities

  • Lead the M&E site team and ensure effective planning and execution of all M&E works.
  • Coordinate with consultants and vendors on shop drawings and technical submissions.

  • Ensure all M&E installations comply with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor site progress and workmanship quality through regular inspections.
  • Prepare and manage M&E work schedules, manpower planning, and sequencing.
  • Resolve technical and site issues promptly with consultants and subcontractors.
  • Review and verify subcontractor progress and claims.
  • Lead Testing & Commissioning for all M&E systems.
  • Ensure safety compliance with WSH guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Manage project handover activities.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead the M&E site team, including engineers, coordinators, and supervisors, ensuring effective planning and execution of all M&E works.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors on shop drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and method statements.
  • Attend and represent the M&E discipline in project, technical, safety, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and main contractor teams.
  • Ensure all M&E installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, QP / PE directives, and authority requirements (SCDF, BCA, PUB, EMA, NEA, LTA).
  • Monitor site progress and workmanship quality through regular inspections and ensure timely rectification of non-compliances.
  • Prepare and manage M&E work schedules, manpower planning, and sequencing to meet project milestones and avoid clashes with other trades.
  • Resolve technical and site issues promptly by coordinating with consultants and subcontractors to minimize delays and reworks.
  • Review and verify subcontractor progress, including measurement sheets, progress claims, variation orders, and material approvals.
  • Lead Testing & Commissioning (T&C) for all M&E systems, including combined services tests and integrated system testing (IST).
  • Ensure safety compliance by enforcing RA, SWP, permit-to-work systems, and ensuring all M&E subcontractors follow WSH guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including inspection records, QAQC submissions, authority forms, as-built drawings, and ISO-required documents.
  • Manage project handover activities, including O&M manual preparation, training to clients, defect rectification, and TOP / CSC readiness.
