Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a Section Leadership & Service Lead to oversee a core dining section in our luxury hotel restaurant. You will manage a team of Assistant Managers, Captains, and Service Attendants, ensuring mise-en-place, station readiness, and flawless sequence of service.

You will engage guests, handle VIP requests, train staff on service standards, tea knowledge, and grooming, and support scheduling.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Restaurant Management or extensive F&B experience.
• Experience 3–6 years of luxury dining or hotel restaurant experience.
• Strong service presence and ability to lead a medium-sized team.
• Understanding of Cantonese cuisine, tea, and Chinese wine is an advantage.
• Fluent professionalism, strong communication skills, and consistent discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Captains, and Service Attendants in one core section, ensuring mise-en-place, table settings, station readiness and sequence of service.
• Be the primary contact point for guests within the section, manage special requests and VIP preferences, and escalate significant matters when required.
• Train and mentor team members on service standards, wine/tea knowledge, and grooming; provide real-time coaching and assist with scheduling.
• Conduct daily hygiene and safety checks; uphold SOPs for service, tea service, wine handling and PDR protocols; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist with order placements, stock rotations, breakage reporting, and rollout of promotions or menu changes.
