Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled logistics professional to manage end-to-end operations, coordinate shipments, and optimize freight costs. The role requires strong relationships with business partners and a proactive approach to resolve delays and claims.

You will coordinate sea, air, and land shipments, benchmark rates, and ensure compliance with Incoterms 2020 and maritime insurance requirements. SAP experience is a plus in this Singapore-based position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in freight, logistics coordination, or trade operations.
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and marine cargo insurance/claims handling.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations and internal supply-demand coordination.
• Build strong working relationships with business partners.
• Book and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and carriers across sea, air, and land modes.
• Negotiate freight rates and service terms; regularly benchmark against market to ensure cost competitiveness.
• Track shipments end-to-end and resolve delays, discrepancies, or any issues with a sense of urgency.
• Lead the carrier selection process by evaluating carriers against defined criteria covering cost, transit time, reliability, and compliance; maintain an approved carrier list and review it periodically.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable trade regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to follow up and resolve complex cargo claims.
• Monitor sales orders and purchase orders across affiliates.
• Manage order intake and fulfilment coordination.
• Identify demand patterns and flag supply constraints proactively.

Requirements

• Familiar with Incoterms 2020.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One system would be an added advantage.
