Job summary

PASONA Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Logistic Executive to manage end-to-end logistics operations and internal supply-demand coordination in Singapore.

The role interfaces with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal sales affiliates to ensure accurate order fulfilment and timely shipment execution. The successful candidate will coordinate shipments across sea, air, and land, negotiate rates, track progress, and ensure compliance with trade regulations and Incoterms 2020.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in freight, logistics coordination, or trade operations.
• Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One experience would be an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to travel occasionally for overseas business trips.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and carriers across sea, air, and land modes.
• Negotiate freight rates and service terms; regularly benchmark against market to ensure cost competitiveness.
• Track shipments end-to-end and resolve delays, discrepancies, or any issues with urgency.
• Lead carrier selection by evaluating criteria on cost, transit time, reliability, and compliance; maintain approved carrier list.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to follow up and resolve complex cargo claims.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for internal sales affiliates, managing order intake and fulfilment coordination.
• Monitor sales orders and purchase orders; identify demand patterns and flag supply constraints.
• Maintain records; prepare reports on order status, shipment progress, and open issues for internal stakeholders.
• Work with affiliates to navigate order processing workflows and resolve PO discrepancies on time.

This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of operations and commercial coordination, requiring both accuracy in execution and responsiveness under time-sensitive conditions.

Key responsibilities
