Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Logistics Executive to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers, orchestrating end-to-end order fulfilment and proactively resolving supply chain issues.

You will negotiate ocean freight rates, coordinate shipment bookings, and provide guidance on cargo loss prevention, while ensuring accurate records of orders and shipments. Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, 3+ years in freight/logistics, Incoterms 2020

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of freight, logistics coordination and trade or sales operations experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience negotiating ocean freight rates with carriers.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
• Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling.

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers and coordinate shipment bookings and related arrangements.
• Provide guidance on cargo loss prevention and liaise with insurance providers on claims and related negotiations, as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, shipments and related activities to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.

Requirements & Preferences

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in freight, logistics coordination and trade or sales operations.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience negotiating ocean freight rates with carriers.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
• Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills to liaise regularly with sales representatives, factories, suppliers and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using ERP systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to coordinate orders, shipments and related operational matters with English- and Mandarin-speaking business counterparts.
• Willingness to undertake occasional overseas business trips.

Advantageous

• Relevant experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
• Experience using SAP HANA or SAP Business One.
• Experience coordinating with Japan-based teams or working in a Japanese business environment.
• Availability to commence work immediately or within a short notice period.
