Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a logistics professional to liaise with suppliers and customers, coordinate order fulfilment with factories, and manage freight negotiations and shipment bookings.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field, with 3–5 years’ experience in freight or trade operations; familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and SAP is a plus. Occasional overseas travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in freight, logistics coordination, or trade operations.
• Knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling is a plus.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One is a bonus.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Willing to travel occasionally for overseas business trips.

Apart from its marketing and sales activities locally, the company also performs vital functions to support the Group’s global operations, such as the procurement of flexible packaging materials, chemicals and raw materials, the provision of logistic solutions, and developing new businesses in the region.

Job Description:

• Liaise and build strong relationships with both suppliers and customers.
• Manage and coordinate with factories and customers on order fulfilment, including resolving supply chain issues that may arise.
• Freight negotiation and shipment booking.
• Provide professional advice on loss prevention and liaise/negotiate with insurance company when need arise.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date order fulfilment records.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of experience in freight, logistics coordination or trade operations.
• Good-to-have: Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling
• Preferably: Familiarity with Incoterms 2020
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One system would be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Able to travel occasionally for overseas business trips

Compensation:

Working location: Central, Singapore

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
