Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore seeks a Logistics Manager to oversee daily logistics, transportation, delivery, and supply chain operations. You will plan, organise, and control activities to ensure timely and cost-efficient movement of goods and services.

You will coordinate with clients, suppliers, drivers, warehouse staff, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, monitor progress, resolve delays, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, supply chain, or operations management.
• Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily logistics, transport, delivery, and warehouse operations.
• Plan and coordinate delivery schedules, vehicle movements, manpower allocation, and route planning.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor delivery progress, resolve delays, and ensure goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Oversee logistics documentation, delivery orders, invoices, permits, inventory records, and operational reports.
• Monitor fuel usage, transport costs, manpower costs, and other operational expenses.
• Identify and implement improvements to logistics workflow, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the company’s overall logistics, transportation, delivery, and supply chain operations. The candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and controlling daily logistics activities to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods, materials, and services.

The Logistics Manager will coordinate with clients, suppliers, drivers, warehouse staff, and internal departments to ensure all logistics operations are carried out efficiently and in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily logistics, transport, delivery, and warehouse operations.
• Plan and coordinate delivery schedules, vehicle movements, manpower allocation, and route planning.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle customer complaints, operational issues, urgent delivery requests, and service recovery matters professionally.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules, transport regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports for management review.
• Support management in budgeting, manpower planning, vendor coordination, and business development related to logistics operations.
• Perform any other logistics, operations, or management duties assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, supply chain, or operations management.
• Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage drivers, operational staff, suppliers, and customer requirements effectively.
• Good knowledge of logistics procedures, delivery planning, transport coordination, and warehouse operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and handle multiple operational tasks at the same time.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, email communication, reporting, and basic logistics documentation.
• Knowledge of Singapore transport routes, logistics regulations, safety requirements, and delivery operations will be an advantage.
• Responsible, organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, or public holidays when required by operational needs.
