Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an accomplished senior leader to drive forecasting, budgeting, and business planning for its freight forwarding and logistics business in Singapore. The role oversees sales, operations, and admin, ensuring strong performance and efficiency while expanding market presence.

You will manage KPI setting, drive business development with local and multinational clients, and lead digital transformation and CRM initiatives to enhance customer experience

Qualifications

• ≥10 years in freight forwarding/logistics.
• Experience managing a business unit/department.
• P&L responsibility.
• Budget planning, forecasting, and financial performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities to support organisational growth.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand revenue and market presence.
• Manage sales, operations, and administrative functions to ensure business performance and efficiency.
• Oversee KPI setting, performance monitoring, and team management across multiple departments.
• Drive business development initiatives and strengthen relationships with local and multinational customers.
• Expand both existing accounts and new customer segments through strategic customer engagement.
• Prepare management reports and provide regular business updates to regional stakeholders.
• Manage operational excellence initiatives across air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, and supply chain activities.
• Lead process improvement, automation, productivity enhancement, and digital transformation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational performance.
• Support overall business leadership and contribute to long-term organisational succession planning.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience within the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry.
• Experience in air freight operations; exposure to ocean freight, contract logistics, and supply chain solutions is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of the Singapore logistics market.
• Experience managing a business unit, branch, or department.
• Experience holding P&L responsibility.
• Proven experience in budget planning, forecasting, and financial performance management.
• Experience managing both sales and operations teams.
• Demonstrated track record in business development and customer acquisition.
• Established network among local and multinational companies in Singapore is an added advantage.
• Experience leading digital transformation, process improvement, automation, CRM implementation, BI tools, or workflow digitalisation initiativesis an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and headquarters in Japan.
• Business-level English proficiency for communication with English-speaking regional and international stakeholders.

• Monthly salary: Up to SGD 11,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
• AWS + Performance bonus subject to company performance
• Annual leave: 14 days, increasing progressively up to 18 days
