Job summary

Ajinomoto Singapore is seeking a proactive supply chain assistant to help manage international logistics, insurance claims, and order fulfilment.

You will liaise with suppliers and customers, coordinate with factories, negotiate freight, and maintain records. Fresh graduates welcome; MS Office and SAP experience helpful; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in logistics or related field required.
• 1–2 years in freight, logistics or trade operations.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Experience with marine cargo insurance and claims handling desirable.
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2020.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Willing to travel for business trips.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team to manage our supply chain business. The ideal candidate is someone who understands international business, supply chain operation and insurance claim processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise and build strong relationships with both suppliers and customers.
• Manage and coordinate with factories and customers on order fulfilment, including resolving supply chain issues that may arise.
• Freight negotiation and shipment booking.
• Provide professional advice on loss prevention and liaise/negotiate with insurance company when need arise.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date order fulfilment records.

Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 1 ~ 2 years of experience in freight, logistics or trade operations.
• Fresh graduates are open to apply
• Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One system
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Able to travel for business trips occasionally
