Job summary

POH TIONG CHOON LOGISTICS LIMITED is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support daily warehouse and logistics operations in Singapore. You will liaise with customers for cargo movements, receive orders, and enter data in WMS and SAP to ensure accurate processing of shipments.

You will coordinate with the Forwarding and Transport teams, prepare labels, arrange fumigations and inspections, and generate regular reports for customers.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC in any field.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers for movements of cargo
• Receive delivery orders & storing instructions from customers
• Perform entries in WMS and SAP
• Liaise with forwarder for vessel schedule
• Process all picking instruction and release to operation
• Prepare labels for marking and re-branding of cargoes
• Co-ordinate with Transport Department for transportation & shipping requirements
• Arrange for fumigations and Inspection
• Generate stuffing report
• Send weekly / monthly reports to customers
• Assign relevant charges in WMS
• Any other task assign by the Manager
• Know SAP, Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Willing to work overtime (if required)
