Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a professional to take charge of Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing talent management strategies while ensuring training programs develop the skills of employees. Applicants should have a full ACTA qualification with advanced certification in WSH as a preferred advantage. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin are essential, along with strong interpersonal abilities. This role requires the development of training materials and the facilitation of workshops for corporate clients and the public.

  • Skilled in developing training materials and programmes.
  • Experience in conducting hands-on training workshops.
  • Familiar with R1 eligibility and Levy status.

  • Responsible for Learning & Development (L&D) needs of the Group.
  • Implement Talent Management Strategies and Succession Planning.
  • Facilitate training and assessment development and delivery.
  • Review and improve existing training policies and processes.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for corporate and public.
  • Carry out OJT for new employees.

  • Toassistandbe responsible forthe Learning & Development (L&D) needs of the Group to elevate the skills and capabilities of our talent resources
  • Toassistin the implementation of Talent Management Strategies and Succession Planning with theobjectiveof building adequate talent supply to meet current/future organizational needs
  • Tofacilitateall training and/or assessment development and delivery
  • To review existing training policies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • To review all trainingprogrammesregularly to ensure the contents are up to date
  • Train & develop people in areas of skills and safety
  • Developing training materials and conducting training workshops
  • Work closely with Learning & Development Manager to set trainingobjectivesand provide feedback onstaff‘s training progress
  • Develop & conduct workshops for corporate customers & public
  • Carry out OJT for new employees onrespectiveskills of his subject matterexpertise
  • Carry out WSQ Training on the following approved in-house courses:
  • -WSQ-Perform Bundle Pulling & Insertion Operations
  • -WSQ-PerformHydrojettingOperations
  • To be certified as an approved Adult Educator of his assigned skills set
  • Upkeep the training facilities, carry out periodic checks and send for inspection if necessary
  • Ensure all training and other assigned activities arecomplied with the stipulated safety requirements
  • Liaise with Safety Department for any safety-related issues
  • Any other tasks/ assignment/ responsibilities as assigned by management asdeemedappropriate forthe furtherance of company business operational needs
  • Familiar with R1 eligibility & Levy status
Requirement
  • MinimumFull ACTA qualification isa must. Possess of DACE certification will be an advantage
  • Possess Advanced Certificate in WSH (WSQ Level B) or equivalent
  • Skilled in developing training materials &programmesand actual hands-ona must
  • Good presentation & communication skills (English & Mandarin)
  • Good interpersonal skills
