Job summary

Kpler is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead seven product areas across two platform crews and the Analytics teams, with end-to-end ownership and hands-on delivery. You will line-manage Senior Product Managers, set the direction for 6–12 months, and balance platform capabilities with sector needs.

The role requires 8–12 years in B2B data analytics or SaaS, strong leadership, and maritime or trade data experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A qualification in maritime studies, supply chain or logistics, or transport economics is an advantage.
• 8–12 years in product management in B2B data, analytics or SaaS, including time at senior level owning products that customers adopt.
• Line management of product managers: hiring, coaching, objective-setting and honest performance conversations.
• Running a portfolio with several products or crews at once and making the trade-offs between them explicit.
• Data-heavy products: sources, pipelines, suppliers and technical dependencies, and what they mean for a roadmap.
• Comfortable being both a manager and a practitioner; this role still carries delivery of its own.
• Maritime, shipping or trade intelligence: AIS, vessel and ownership data, ports and terminals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the product team across multiple lines and crews; hire, coach and set objectives.
• Set direction for 6–12 months per line and manage trade-offs when competing for platform work.
• Own Maritime Distribution end to end as an individual contributor: strategy, roadmap, delivery and release.
• Own Maritime Models (Analytics) end to end, including analytic outputs other lines depend on.
• Guard platform-vertical seam: ensure coverage, refresh and risk signals across lines.
• Maintain data credibility: one definition per shared concept with traceable claims.
• Sequence the shared roadmap when verticals compete for platform capacity.
• Take releases to market with Product Marketing, Sales and CS across lines.
• Represent Product to BU and Engineering, keeping leadership informed on trade-offs and risk.
• Build bench so no single point of failure for Senior PM seats.
