Mastercard in Singapore is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer - Network Operations to lead complex initiatives, design and maintain large multi-site network environments, and collaborate across teams to ensure secure, scalable infrastructure.

You will manage testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, build disaster recovery processes, and mentor junior staff while thriving in a hybrid, 24x7 global operations setting, including shift work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network operations with strong L1/L2 support.
• Proficient in BGP/EIGRP/OSPF and OSI troubleshooting.
• Familiar with enterprise vendors such as Cisco/Arista/Aruba/Fortinet/CheckPoint/Palo Alto.
• Ability to coach, multitask and stay calm during high-severity incidents.

Lead Platform Engineer - Network Operations

Overview

• Supports and assists with the design, architecture, implementation, security and maintenance of large multi-site, multi-vendor network environments.
• Collaborate with design engineering & operations to implement complex network design solutions encompassing end-to-end Data centres infrastructure, firewalls, switching, & routing that scale for strategic growth.
• Support application teams by maintaining a working knowledge of the intricate inter-workings of MasterCard core applications to ensure they operate smoothly within the existing network architecture or provide a new architecture if required. Includes troubleshooting of application impact.

Role: In this position, you will:

• Lead complex initiatives and provides advanced technical support for Mastercard's operations environment, resolving complex escalations as they arise
• Is responsible for moderately-complex testing, troubleshooting, testing, resolving and documentation
• Builds relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure center wide disaster recovery processes are in place technical platform and applications are operating efficiently
• Carries out changes within the operations environment, including coordinating project efforts and provides input on team assignments
• Scales systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
• Defines, manages, and reviews all service level objectives (SLOs) with the customer and service delivery teams
• Mentors junior staff by providing training to develop technical skills and capabilities across the team

All About You

• Have 5+ years in network operations with strong L1/L2 support experience
• Be highly proficient in BGP/EIGRP/OSPF, OSI troubleshooting, and packet analysis
• Have operational familiarity with common enterprise vendors (Cisco/Arista/Aruba/Fortinet/CheckPoint/Palo Alto)
• Be strong in coaching, multitasking, and calm execution during high-severity incidents
• Hybrid working environment while supporting a 24 by 7 Global Network operations.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
