Join Our Team as a Laboratories Assistant!

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratories Assistant to support our growing team. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of laboratory equipment and workspaces.
Assist in conducting experiments, tests, and analyses under supervision.
Manage laboratory procurement, including sourcing supplies, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, procurement transactions, and supplier details.
Collaborate with project teams to identify procurement needs and optimize cost-effectiveness.
Monitor laboratory consumables to prevent stockouts and minimize wastage.
Adhere to strict safety protocols when handling hazardous materials and operating lab equipment.
Support other laboratory-related tasks and projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Secondary School/Professional Certificate/NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in any field.
Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience (Candidates without experience are welcome to apply!).
Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure the best pricing and payment terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
    Personal Qualities:
  • Highly organized, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
  • Positive working attitude, punctual, and takes initiative.
  • Thrives under pressure and can handle a fast-paced environment.
    Availability: Able to start immediately or on short notice is a plus.
