Job summary

V-ELEGANT PTE. LTD. on Jurong Island, Singapore, seeks a Support Engineer to deliver first-line IT support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals, ensuring prompt resolution of user issues.

You will troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, AD, and SharePoint, manage assets and assist with onboarding/offboarding, security hygiene, and documentation. The role requires a Diploma/degree in IT and at least 2 years in a helpdesk or desktop-support environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/CS required.
• Minimum 2 years in IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support.
• Proficient with Windows, Microsoft 365, AD and SharePoint.
• Experience in asset management and documentation helpful.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-level IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, AV equipment, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and Microsoft 365 issues to maintain system functionality.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
• Perform asset tagging, inventory management, and lifecycle tracking of IT assets.
• Support joiner/mover/leaver processes for smooth IT transitions.
• Assist with Windows updates, software deployment, and image management for security.
• Conduct first-level troubleshooting of servers, networks, and firewalls under Level 2 guidance.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for warranty, repairs, and support.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and user guides for knowledge sharing.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives such as MFA, antivirus, phishing awareness and monitoring.
