Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. seeks a dedicated school helper to maintain cleanliness in Food and Consumer Education Rooms and assist teachers with weekly tasks. You will prep materials for lessons, supervise student safety, and manage inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies.

The role involves checking safety after each lesson, processing weekly orders, and supporting school activities related to food education. English proficiency and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimally completed Primary School Education.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in food preparation and hygiene standards.
• Able to speak, read and write English, pleasant, mature disposition and has basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily cleanliness of the Food and Consumer Education Rooms and Preparation Room.
• Assist teachers in managing the tasks listed below.
• Place weekly orders for food ingredients, materials and cleaning supplies for the department.
• Prepare materials for weekly food practical and theory lessons.
• Supervise the safety and discipline of students.
• Conduct check to ensure the safety of the Laboratory after each lesson.
• Conduct check of the inventory items and report on items that require replacement on termly basis.
• Check and account for the receipt of the ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain a proper inventory record of all culinary stores and books.
• Support the running of food-related school activities.
