IET PTE. LTD. is seeking a school kitchen assistant to help maintain cleanliness and safety in the food preparation areas.

The role involves preparing ingredients, materials, and equipment for both practical and theory lessons, and supporting teachers with ordering and inventory tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in food preparation and hygiene, strong English skills, and basic math abilities for inventory checks.

• Must have ability to speak, read and write English.
• Basic mathematical skills for checking quantities and inventory records.
• Commitment to cleanliness and safety in a school kitchen environment.
• Minimum primary school education.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in food preparation and hygiene standards.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the Food and Consumer Education Rooms and Preparation Room.
• Prepare ingredients, materials and equipment for food practical and theory lessons.
• Assist teachers with weekly ordering of food ingredients, kitchen supplies and cleaning materials.
• Check deliveries, maintain kitchen inventory records and identify items requiring replacement.
• Support teachers in maintaining student safety during practical lessons and assisting with food-related school activities.

Job Description

Requirements

• Minimum primary school education.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in food preparation and hygiene standards.

• Able to speak, read and write English.

• Possess basic mathematical skills for checking quantities and maintaining inventory records.

• Pleasant, mature and able to maintain cleanliness and safety in a school kitchen environment.
  

  Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Lunch Break: 1 hour, where applicable
