Job summary

Yellow Ribbon in Singapore is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation and classroom activities in our Food and Consumer Education spaces. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene, prepare ingredients, assist with orders and inventory, and help ensure student safety during practical lessons in a school kitchen environment.

Ideal applicants have at least 3 years of relevant experience, can read and write English, and are capable of basic math for inventory checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum primary school education.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in food preparation and hygiene standards.
• Able to speak, read and write English.
• Possess basic mathematical skills for checking quantities and maintaining inventory records.
• Pleasant, mature and able to maintain cleanliness and safety in a school kitchen environment.

  Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Lunch Break: 1 hour, where applicable
