Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant for a school setting in Singapore. The role involves preparing and portioning ingredients for practical lessons and assisting with orders, deliveries and stock checks.

You will verify deliveries, maintain storage and stock rotation, keep kitchen equipment clean, and provide basic admin support for teaching activities. Working hours are a 1-year contract with shifts from 7:00am to 4:00pm (Mon–Thu) and 7:00am to 3:30pm on Fridays;

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a school or commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of food handling, kitchen safety and hygiene.
• Relevant food safety certification preferred.
• Good organisational, time management and communication skills.
• Able to work well in a dynamic environment and as part of a team.
• PSLE pass preferred.

Duration/Working Hours:

1 year contract duration - opt to extend 1 year(Jan 2027 to Dec 2027)

10 month service (Jan 2027 to Oct 2027)

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30min lunch break
• Fridays: 7:00am to 3.30pm, inclusive of 30min lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays. However, depending on school's requirements, there may be days where the Personnel is requested to extend working hours. In such circumstances, Personnel will be granted time-off in lieu.
