Job summary

Pico Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic events intern to support planning and execution of conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and corporate events. You will work alongside experienced event managers to learn the end-to-end process and contribute fresh ideas.

The role offers hands-on experience across client brief development, budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, and post-event evaluations. A Diploma or Degree in related fields is preferred; interns, part-time roles, and school

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• No prior full-time experience required; internships, part-time work, or school/community involvement are advantageous.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinking, keen eye for detail, initiative to solve problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with event tools is a plus.
• Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to work weekends or after-hours during events.
• Passion for delivering exceptional events and creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and corporate events, working with experienced event managers.
• Assist in understanding client objectives and help develop event concepts and solutions.
• Help track event budgets, timelines, and resources; ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders on event logistics such as bookings, schedules, and on-site requirements.
• Support the implementation of event marketing activities, including social media content and attendee engagement materials.
• Assist with post-event evaluations by collecting feedback, compiling data, and highlighting areas for improvement.
• Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event management, and share ideas with the team.
• Learn from senior team members through on-the-job training and mentoring, and take on increasing responsibility over time.
