Cold Storage Singapore 1983 Pte Ltd is seeking a Meat Service Associate to support daily operations at our meat department. You will weigh, clean, and cut meats, assist customers with purchases, and ensure attractive, fully stocked displays while following strict SOPs.

Strong teamwork, customer service focus, and attention to detail are essential. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with emphasis on safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Replenish display and ensure FIFO and full displays.
• Maintain freshness and high quality in meat cutting, chiller, and coldroom.
• Uphold housekeeping and personal hygiene to reflect good image.

Job description

The Role:

• Perform assigned duties diligently at the work-station by observing the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Food Safety and Work Safety Standards.

• Weigh, clean and cut all types and sizes of meat for customers accurately according to standards and requirements.

• Attend to customer’s queries and needs promptly in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner to achieve customer satisfaction.

• Apply product knowledge by assisting customers in their meat and poultry purchase by advising them what is ideal for the type of food to be prepared.

• Replenish upright chiller and showcase according to display requirements set to maintain a good and “full” display at all times. FIFO practice to be observed at all times.

• Upkeep freshness and ensure high quality standards when handling goods at the meat cutting station, displaying goods at the chiller/showcase and arranging goods in the coldroom.

• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, cleanliness, personal grooming and hygiene at all times to reflect a good company image.
