Job summary

BLUZEN PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer to deliver hands-on end-user support and assist with IT infrastructure projects to ensure reliable business operations.

Responsibilities include on-site/remote support for Windows, M365, hardware, and network issues, plus installation of devices and security software, and collaboration with vendors. Some travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in IT or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows, PC hardware, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, LAN and Wi-Fi.
• Ability to troubleshoot systematically, communicate clearly with users, and maintain accurate service records.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Singapore and occasional after-hours/weekend project work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, email, internet, and network connectivity issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and deploy computers, peripherals, and endpoint security software.
• Assist in installing and troubleshooting switches, firewalls, wireless APs, and VPN connections.
• Execute IT infrastructure projects including office relocations, equipment replacement, and rack installation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and health checks on customer IT equipment.
• Support CCTV, access control, and IP telephony systems as required.
• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and inventories.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, vendors, and ISPs to resolve incidents.

Job Summary

This hands-on IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer role supports customers in Singapore by delivering end-user support, troubleshooting on-site issues, and assisting with IT infrastructure projects to ensure reliable business operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications to ensure smooth user operations
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, email, internet, and network connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Install, configure, and deploy computers, peripherals, and approved endpoint security software to maintain secure IT environments
• Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and VPN connections to support network stability
• Execute IT infrastructure projects including office relocations, equipment replacement, rack installation, network patching, labeling, and testing to meet project goals
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and basic health checks on customer IT equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Support installation and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, and IP telephony systems as required to enhance security and communication
• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, service reports, and equipment inventories accurately for transparency and tracking
• Coordinate with senior engineers, vendors, and internet service providers to resolve complex incidents efficiently
• Respond to assigned service requests within agreed timelines and elevate issues promptly to maintain service quality
• Adhere to customer-site safety protocols and company procedures for system access, configuration changes, and data confidentiality to ensure compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, Networking, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Working knowledge of Windows, PC hardware, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, LAN, and Wi-Fi
• Ability to troubleshoot systematically, communicate clearly with users, and maintain accurate service records
• Responsible attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Singapore
• Availability for occasional scheduled after-hours or weekend project work, subject to agreed arrangements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Exposure to Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, or similar networking products
• Basic knowledge of VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules, or wireless troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, backup systems, or endpoint protection
• Experience with CCTV, access control, structured cabling, or IP telephony
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Network+
• Valid Singapore Class 3/3A driving licence
