Job summary

NetworkExpress Courier Services Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to own the internal IT infrastructure, network performance and vendor coordination. The role requires coordinating with outsourced IT/server providers, cloud telephony, ISPs and other tech partners to ensure stable day-to-day operations.

You will manage LAN/WAN, Windows Server and VoIP services, monitor network health, troubleshoot issues and document configurations and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related discipline.
• 3–5 years hands-on IT infrastructure/network experience.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, routing and switching knowledge.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, WAN/Internet connectivity and QoS.
• Experience with Windows Server and RDS/RDP environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Understanding of VoIP, SIP, RTP, QoS and IP phones.
• Ability to diagnose packet loss, latency and congestion.
• Strong communication with external vendors and management.

Responsibilities

Network Express Courier Services Pte Ltd isseeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to take ownership of our internal IT infrastructure, network performance and technical vendor coordination.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and coordinate with our outsourced IT/server provider, cloud telephony provider, ISP and other technology vendors to ensure stable and secure day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor LAN/WAN, Internet, Wi-Fi, VLANs, switches, routers and firewall infrastructure.
• Support and monitor Windows Server, RDS/RDP, Active Directory, Group Policy and virtual machines .
• Troubleshoot network latency, jitter, packet loss, bandwidth and connectivity issues .
• Perform network diagnostics using Ping, Traceroute, MTR, Wireshark/packet capture and monitoring tools .
• Configure and monitor QoS and traffic prioritization , particularly for VoIP services.
• Support VoIP, SIP, IP phones, softphones/web phones and cloud telephony infrastructure.
• Monitor server, firewall and network health and proactively identify potential problems.
• Coordinate technical investigations with outsourced IT vendors and service providers.
• Review vendors' technical findings and ensure issues are properly resolved rather than simply closed.
• Maintain network diagrams, IP/device inventories, server records, configuration records and IT SOPs.
• Maintain an IT incident and issue register , including root cause, corrective action and closure status.
• Provide management with clear technical updates and periodic IT infrastructure/network health reports .
• Support future IT infrastructure upgrades, system integrations and technology projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure/network administration.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, routing and switching .
• Practical experience with firewalls, VPNs, WAN/Internet connectivity and network traffic management .
• Experience supporting Windows Server and RDS/RDP environments .
• Knowledge of virtualization such as VMware or Hyper‑V .
• Understanding of VoIP, SIP, RTP, QoS, IP phones and web/softphones .
• Able to independently diagnose packet loss, jitter, latency and network congestion .
• Able to communicate confidently with external technical vendors and translate technical issues into clear updates for management.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and follow‑up skills.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA is highly advantageous. Microsoft, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet/FCP, AWS or other relevant infrastructure/network certifications are also welcome.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is more thana desktop/helpdesk support technician . You should be comfortable investigating complex infrastructure issues across: User/Device → LAN/VLAN → RDS/Server → Firewall→ ISP → Cloud Services Systems Integration & Project Support: Support NEC's ongoing digitalization and warehouse automation projects, including WMS, parcel sorting systems and other operational technologies. Coordinate technical requirements between application vendors, automation vendors and NEC's outsourced IT providers. Experience with system integration, APIs, SQL/database fundamentals, network architecture, WMS/logistics systems, barcode/scanning systems or warehouse automation will be an advantage. You must be capable of working directly with external IT vendors, analyzing their technical findings and taking ownership of an issue through to proper resolution.
