Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote assistance in Ubi. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, deploy and configure new systems, and document procedures for future reference.

Ideal candidates hold an ITE/ Diploma in IT, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The role requires a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment, with clear ticketing workflows and asset management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks and operating systems.
• Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Position: Junior IT Support Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am – 6pm)

Location: Ubi

Salary: S$2,000 – S$3,000 + Commission + Performance Bonus

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems

• Provide remote and on-site support to end-users, addressing their technical concerns and resolving issues efficiently

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and system checks

• Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software

• Identify and diagnose technical problems, providing timely and effective solutions

• Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical issues

• Document technical issues, resolutions, and procedures for future reference

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and system configurations

• Provide training and guidance to end-users on the use of IT systems and applications

• Develop and maintain user documentation and guides

Requirements

• ITE/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)

• Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are a plus
