Job summary

PEOPLE PROFILERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT onsite engineer to provide hardware service and support for desktops and laptops to end users and corporate clients.

You will update customers on service status and manage cases from start to finish through a ticketing system. Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware and software issues, installing operating systems, firmware, and BIOS, and coordinating with dispatchers to ensure timely closure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT onsite engineering experience.
• Solid hardware and software knowledge with strong customer focus.
• Willingness to travel island-wide daily and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT hardware service and support on desktops and laptops for end users and corporate customers.
• Update customers on service status and closure of incidents promptly.
• Handle parts movement and proper inventory control within the team.
• Diagnose hardware and software failures and perform troubleshooting.
• Install operating systems, firmware, and BIOS on devices.
• Manage end-user cases end-to-end via ticketing system.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, leads, and supervisor to ensure timely closure.
• Attend new product training via web-based sessions.

Job Responsibilities

• To provide IT hardware service and support on desktops, laptops for end users and corporate customers
• Provide timely update to customers on service appointment, service status till closure of the services incidents.
• Ensure proper parts handling and movement within the team during transit to customers.
• Support and troubleshooting which includes diagnosis of hardware and software failures or problem.
• Install Operation system, firmware, and bios.
• Handles and manages end-user from end to end.
• Handling, resolving, and keeping track of assigned cases through ticketing system.
• Work closely with dispatchers, leads and supervisor to ensure all jobs are completed and closed timely.
• Attend new product training via Web based training.

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience as a IT onsite engineer.
• Minimum 'O' levels holders.
• Possesses basic hardware and software knowledge.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Enjoy working with people and prepared to take on new opportunities and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Good customer service mindset
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Must be willing to travel island wide daily (roaming role),transport cost shall be reimbursed.
