Job Summary

The IT Network Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining VSMC’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves managing network operations, troubleshooting issues, and leading a team to support business continuity and scalability. The IT Network Manager will also collaborate with other departments to align network strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design & Implementation

• Plan, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions.
• Ensure network architecture meets performance and security standards.

Maintenance & Monitoring

• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.

Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce network security policies and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor network engineers and support staff.
• Coordinate training and development for the IT network team.

Vendor & Project Management

• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Oversee network-related projects from planning to execution.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate network documentation and inventory.
• Prepare regular reports on network performance and incidents.

Job Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent is highly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in network administration or management.
• Proven experience in managing enterprise-level network infrastructure.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security tools.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
