Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee IT systems and infrastructure projects. Job responsibilities
  • Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals within budget constraints
  • Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
  • Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
  • Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
  • Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
  • Monitoring programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel
  • Organizing project activities and interdepartment meetings
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects
  • Perform routine system maintenance task, such as updating software, applying patches, insuring security protocol up to date
  • Assist in trouble shooting hardware and software problem
  • Provide technical support to end users by responding to help desk tickets, emails, or phone calls related to system issue
  • Assist in implementing and testing data backup procedure to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failure
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides
  • Work collaboratively with other IT team members to solve complex technical issues and share knowledge
  • System monitoring, maintenance and user support, data back up and recovery, security
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as tasked by Reporting Officer
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT systems and infrastructure
  • Hands-on knowledge of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Able to work independently with initiative and adaptability and in a team
