Job Title: Investment Manager / Portfolio Manager – Single Family Office
Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD 15,000 – 20,000 / month

Role Overview

As an Investment Manager, you will directly oversee the family’s portfolio across public and private markets, real estate, and alternative assets. You will conduct research, evaluate opportunities, manage risks, and provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor multi-asset investment portfolios
  • Take full ownership of the family office’s investment portfolio, including public equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, and alternative assets. Continuously monitor portfolio performance, rebalance as necessary, and ensure alignment with the family’s long-term financial objectives.
  • Conduct market research, due diligence, and financial analysis. Perform rigorous research on investment opportunities, including market trends, industry analysis, and competitor performance. Conduct detailed due diligence on potential investments, assessing financial statements, business models, and risk profiles to inform strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate opportunities and prepare investment memoranda. Analyze and summarize findings from research and due diligence into clear, actionable investment proposals. Present investment memoranda with well-supported recommendations to the family principal and senior stakeholders.
  • Report portfolio performance to the family principal. Provide regular, comprehensive reporting on portfolio performance, including performance metrics, risk assessment, and portfolio allocation. Offer insights and recommendations for adjustments based on market developments and family objectives.
  • Collaborate with external advisors, fund managers, and service providers. Maintain close relationships with external professionals, including fund managers, consultants, auditors, and legal advisors, to ensure smooth execution of investment strategies and adherence to governance standards.
  • Support strategic planning for wealth preservation and growth. Work alongside senior family office stakeholders to develop long-term strategies for wealth preservation, diversification, and intergenerational planning. Identify opportunities for growth while balancing risk and liquidity requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in private wealth management, family office, or investment advisory.
  • Experience managing portfolios of AUM $20M and above preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related; CFA or postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • High ethical standards, discretion, and integrity.
  • Professional certifications valued: CFA, CIMA, CAIA.
