Job summary

AIA is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join the Technology team, providing insurance domain expertise to analyze needs, assess impacts, and drive tech solutions. The role collaborates with business users, technology teams, and vendors across production support, enhancements, and project delivery.

Responsibilities include shaping requirements, managing user stories and test plans, validating functionality, and supporting UAT.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Professional qualification in Group Insurance (CII/LOMA) adds advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst within technology.
• Strong domain knowledge in insurance, preferably Group Insurance.
• Experience supporting applications, production incidents, enhancements and SDLC-driven projects.
• English proficiency, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance business domain expertise to analyze needs and drive technology solutions.
• Collaborate with business users, technology teams and vendors across support and projects.
• Drive requirement scoping, document user requirements and manage deliverables.
• Perform impact analysis and validate that solutions meet user needs.
• Own functional deliverables including user stories, flows, test scenarios and plans.
• Support functional validation, QA, UAT and production deployment verification.
• Identify risks and opportunities; adhere to SDLC, security and data protection.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI, including Generative AI, where applicable.
