Job summary

Scigate – Industrial Automation Solutions in Singapore is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to manage incoming customer enquiries, understand requirements, and prepare proposals with support from Product/Support Engineers. You will identify new business opportunities through cold/warm calling, follow up on quotation status in CRM, and have a clear path for career advancement to outdoor sales roles.

The position is office-based with training provided, and English and Mandarin communication

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Industrial) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming customer enquiries and support requests from Outdoor Sales Engineers.
• Understand customer requirements and prepare proposals/quotations with support from Product/Support Engineers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold/warm calling.
• Follow up with customers on quotation status and maintain sales funnel updates via CRM.
• Opportunity for career advancement to outdoor - Sales & Application Engineer.
