Job summary

HSBC Singapore is seeking a high-calibre professional to lead the VP Staff Training and Competency Development. In this role you will shape the Wealth Academy, set strategy and governance to align training with business priorities, and drive a scalable curriculum across blended, digital, classroom, and on-the-job delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading learning and development at scale.
• Wealth management background with exposure to investments and insurance products.
• Strong facilitation and communication with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience designing recognition programmes and internal communications that shift culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, crafting compelling narratives and high-impact stories.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen to interpret data and measure ROI of learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Shape and champion the Wealth Academy as a flagship capability program, setting strategy and governance.
• Support end-to-end learning agenda for Wealth, setting design and delivery standards.
• Lead a scalable curriculum and delivery model (blended, digital, classroom, on-the-job).
• Partner with senior stakeholders, product owners, Compliance, Risk, HR and external providers.
• Help set the recognition strategy with campaigns that reinforce desired behaviours and growth.
• Oversee internal communications to increase visibility, engagement and pride across the organisation.
• Lead the creation of success stories and playbooks to motivate teams and accelerate performance.
• Drive development and communication of career pathways and accreditation frameworks for frontline and specialist roles.
