We aew seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Generalist to support the company's growing workforce and day-to-day human resource operations. The successful candidate will manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, performance management, training coordination, and employee relations. This role collaborates closely with management and operational teams to ensure effective manpower planning, policy compliance, and smooth HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process by posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding to secure qualified talent.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding to ensure smooth transitions and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation to support operational efficiency and compliance.
- Support employment contract administration, staff movements, leave management, attendance tracking, and other HR-related matters to maintain workforce accuracy.
- Assist management in manpower planning by analyzing workforce requirements and supporting staffing strategies.
- Drive employee engagement and staff welfare initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Respond promptly to employee enquiries, providing clear and timely HR-related assistance.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including organizing performance reviews and maintaining related documentation.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance and operational consistency.
- Support payroll-related HR administration and liaise with internal or external parties to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Ensure statutory HR administration complies with Singapore employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare HR and manpower reports for management to inform decision-making.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee information and HR matters.
- Support management with additional HR and administrative projects as assigned to drive continuous improvement.
Required competencies and certifications
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in human resources or related HR functions.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and employee lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR-related systems or platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience in recruitment and manpower administration is an added advantage.
