Job summary

Responsibilities

• Overall site management for safety, security, health, and environment of Singapore projects.
• Develop detailed site HSE execution plans, define HSE management procedures, and implement effective safety regulations.
• Participate in qualification audits of subcontractors and their team members.
• Deliver proper HSE education and training to project staff.
• Organize site HSE meetings, periodic inspections, and behavior observations; document non-compliance and follow up on rectifications.
• Collaborate with construction engineers to develop safety work method statements for high-risk jobs and ensure proper disclosure.
• Liaise with authorities, owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers to ensure HSE compliance.
• Collect HSE records and reports, monitor KPIs, and implement actions for continuous improvement.
• Conduct accident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and execute targeted corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager.

Requirements

• 7 years of construction site management experience, including at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry with project execution in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of safety management practices, local laws, and regulations on safety, health, security, and environment.
• Familiarity with BizSAFE, ISO management systems, WSHMS, and GGBS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common software tools.
• Possess a valid Singapore safety management qualification certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in safety, environment, construction, mechanical, or related field.
