Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive HR Operations Assistant to provide first-line HR support and handle day-to-day HR Direct activities. You will respond to queries on policies, benefits, payroll, and employee records, maintain HR data, and collaborate with Payroll and HR Partners to ensure accurate and timely service.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in HR or related fields, strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience in HR operations, HR shared services, HR administration, or employee support.
• Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HR systems or HR case management platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR support to employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.
• Handle day-to-day HR Direct activities and ensure timely responses.
• Respond to queries on policies, processes, benefits, leave, payroll, and records.
• Manage and track HR requests with follow-up within timelines.
• Support onboarding, transfers, changes in employment details, and offboarding.
• Maintain up-to-date employee data in HR systems.
• Collaborate with HR Partners, Centres of Excellence, Payroll, and HR teams to resolve queries.
• Escalate complex or sensitive HR matters to stakeholders.
• Assist with HR reports, documentation, and communications.
• Ensure HR processes follow policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Identify recurring queries and feed back improvements.
