Job summary

United Overseas Bank is seeking an experienced HR Operations professional in Singapore to manage complex HR processes, ensure data integrity, and support onboarding and lifecycle activities. You will collaborate with HR teams, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance efficiency and risk management while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2–3 years in HR Operations or related fields, strong analytics, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, operational controls, and service delivery frameworks.
• Familiarity with MAS guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria, RNF, and HR risk/compliance.
• Experience in managing complex operational issues and driving process improvements.
• Experience in HR systems, digitalisation, or transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and escalation point for complex operational issues, driving resolution with stakeholders.
• Partner with HR teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver seamless employee lifecycle services.
• Ensure integrity of employee data in HR systems for accurate reporting and governance.
• Support background screening, work pass, onboarding, and lifecycle processes in compliance with policies.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance operational processes.
• Monitor operational risks and controls to ensure compliance with employment regulations and audit standards.
• Support Team Lead in oversight, workload prioritisation, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members to foster knowledge sharing and excellence.
