A consulting firm in Singapore seeks an HR professional to partner with business leaders and manage several HR functions. This role involves overseeing payroll, implementing training programs, and promoting company culture. Ideal candidates will have a relevant Bachelor's degree and HR experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in the FMCG sector. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and provide HR insights that support talent development, workforce planning, employee success across the MYSG business and regional office.
Manage the full spectrum of HR functions including onboarding, HR advisory, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and exit management for all employees within scope.
Oversee and manage monthly payroll processing for all 3 legal entities in collaboration with outsourced payroll providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Partner with Finance to ensure clear and accurate consolidation of payroll data into overall budgeting and forecasting. Support employee income reporting requirements and provide HR audit support by maintaining accurate records and adhering to internal and statutory standards.
Lead the design and implementation of training and development programs by identifying skill gaps, sourcing relevant learning solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous growth.
Act as a culture ambassador by promoting company values and initiatives, including employee recognition programs and engagement strategies that enhance workplace satisfaction and team cohesion.
Oversee a smooth, structured onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring alignment with company culture and operational readiness from day one.
Collaborate with the wider APAC HR team to support the rollout and localization of global and regional HR initiatives, ensuring they align with local regulations and cultural expectations.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with experience from human resources functions as a generalist in a fast-paced environment. Experience with FMCG industry will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced growth environment.
Good knowledge of local labor laws, HR principles and practice of Singapore and Malaysia.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to excel in a multi-cultural environment.
