Oriental Remedies East Coast is offering an HR internship to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Google Suites; familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Available for internship period of 3 to 6 months.

Job description

The HR internship provides hands-on experience in human resources functions, offering interns the opportunity to gain practical knowledge in recruitment, employee engagement and HR operations.

Recruitment Support
  • Manage job advertisements and career fair postings across multiple job portals to attract top talent.
  • Actively source and engage with candidates in relevant fields, assisting in screening and shortlisting applicants.
  • Organize, coordinate, and participate in recruitment campaigns such as career fairs, in-house training and workshops.
Onboarding & Offboarding Process
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing offer letters, employment contracts, and orientation schedules to ensure smooth integration into the company
  • Assist in the offboarding process for employees, including processing resignation letters, conducting exit interviews, completing offboarding checklists, and arranging logistics for their final day.
HR Reporting
  • Maintain and update accurate records, including employee files, attendance, leave applications, and other HR documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in crafting, documenting, and updating HR processes and job descriptions to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Prepare HR reports and statistical data as required by the Senior HR Manager to support HR decision-making and strategy planning.
Employee Engagement
  • Help organize and support employee engagement activities such as team-building events, training sessions, workshops, and welfare programs.
  • Participate in conducting employee feedback surveys and assist in the implementation of action plans to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement..
Learning & Development:
  • Engage in training and development opportunities, including shadowing HR professionals, attending internal workshops, and gaining a deeper understanding of HR practices.
HR Projects:
  • Participate in HR-related projects or initiatives aimed at process improvement, contributing fresh ideas and gaining insights into HR strategies.
Job Requirements
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Google Suites; familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
