A prominent recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an HR Executive to manage various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, work pass management, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in human resources and 2-5 years of experience in HR Generalist roles. This position offers a salary of $4500 on a contract basis, and success in this role involves ensuring compliance with local labor laws while facilitating employee development and support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end hiring process including job descriptions and interviews.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Handle work pass applications and compliance with MOM requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits and provide payroll inputs.
  • Develop HR policies ensuring compliance with Singapore laws.
  • Provide guidance for employee inquiries.

  • Mediating workplace conflicts and grievances.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs.

About the job HR Executive (Generalist | Expo MRT | $4500 | Contract)

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from drafting job descriptions and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and administering employment contracts.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate a smooth transition for new hires (onboarding) and manage all administrative procedures, including exit interviews and clearance (offboarding).
  • Work Pass Management: Handle applications, renewals, and cancellations for various work passes (e.g., Employment Pass, S Pass) in strict compliance with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements.
  • Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits (e.g., health insurance, leave) and provide essential payroll inputs, including statutory contributions like the Central Provident Fund (CPF).
  • HR Policy & Compliance: Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and handbooks, ensuring they are compliant with all Singapore labour laws and Tripartite Guidelines.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and statutory entitlements.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate and administer the performance review cycle, including goal setting, appraisals, and coordinating performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Disciplinary and Grievance Management: Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, disciplinary issues, and formal grievances fairly and in line with legal and company procedures.
  • Training and Development (L&D): Identify training needs across the organisation and coordinate relevant learning programs to enhance employee skills and development.
  • HR Records and Data Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records and manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
