Job summary

YONG FU EATING HOUSE PTE. LTD. is seeking a competent HR generalist to handle the full spectrum of HR functions in its Singapore operations. The role ensures accurate payroll processing, maintains employee records, and supports recruitment from job postings to interviews and onboarding.

You will also manage work passes, leave, medical records, and staff insurance, while ensuring HR policies comply with relevant laws. A degree in HR or related field and 2–3 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, accounting or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of HR experience in a corporate setting.
• Familiarity with Employment Act and Work Injury Compensation Act.

Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of HR functions and maintain employee records.
• Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payroll.
• Support recruitment from posting to interviews and orientation.
• Handle work passes: quota, applications, renewals, cancellations.
• Manage leave, medical records, and company insurance matters.
• Provide policy guidance and update HR practices to stay compliant.
• Prepare and file IR8A and IR21 for staff on schedule.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of HR functions
• Maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date employee’s records for accurate reporting
• Well-versed in payroll function to ensure payroll is performed at timely and accurate manner
• To assist with recruitment from job posting, selection, arranging interview and new staff orientation
• Full knowledge in handling work passes matters (quota calculation, application, renewal, cancellation etc)
• Responsible for leave management, medical record
• Assist and manage company insurance function eg updates, renewal and claims
• Provide advice to staff on HR policies and procedures
• Review and update HR policies and practices are in compliance with relevant regulatory act and laws
• Maintain proper documentation of all relevant documents pertaining to payroll
• Processing and submission of yearly IR8A and IR21 for staff in a timely manner
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by Management

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources, Accounting or equivalent
• 2-3 years' working experience
• Knowledge of Employment Act, Work Injury Compensation Act
• Candidates with payroll experience and INFOTECH system knowledge will be an added advantage
• Team player with strong analytical skill, integrity with strong sense of confidentiality
