Job Summary
Coordinate and manage HR and administrative functions including worker onboarding, work permit processing, payroll preparation, and communication with employment agencies to support operational efficiency in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with employment agencies to manage pre-employment requirements and onboarding logistics for new hires
- Conduct onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes for workers to ensure smooth transitions
- Manage Work Permit applications, cancellations, and compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations
- Prepare and process worker payroll operations accurately and timely
- Compile billing payment summaries including PCP, Security Bond, MWOC, and related charges for financial reconciliation
- Organize and distribute official letters to relevant parties for processing
- Arrange meal orders and coordinate delivery logistics for workers on site
- Provide administrative support across departments to facilitate daily operations
- Execute additional HR and administrative duties as assigned by Management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 2-3 years of HR and administrative experience in the Construction Industry
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with management and team members
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills demonstrated through managing multiple HR processes simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities under Management guidance
