Job summary

Far East Organization seeks a proactive Hotel Manager to lead operations across Front Office, Housekeeping & Laundry, Food & Beverage, Security and Engineering in Singapore. You will partner with the Executive Committee to craft budgets, forecasts and improvement initiatives aligned with company objectives.

You will drive yield strategies, maintain service and cleanliness standards, and oversee guest experiences while collaborating with HR on staffing and development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper, efficient and profitable hotel operation by overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping & Laundry, F&B, Security and Engineering.
• Collaborate with Executive Committee to develop long-term and short-term strategies, budgets and forecasts for the hotel.
• Provide recommendations to the Area General Manager on process improvements and hotel strategies.
• Analyze trends and guest needs to stay proactive about accommodations, services and facilities.
• Implement yield management to achieve ARR and occupancy goals and maximize room inventory.
• Maintain high service and cleanliness levels within budget in guestrooms and public areas via Housekeeping management.
• Ensure the F&B section meets sales and service standards.
• Regularly inspect guest rooms, public areas, lobby and facilities to uphold high standards.
• Collaborate with outsourced security for surveillance, reporting and incident follow-up.
• Coordinate with HR for manpower needs, recruitment and promotions.
• Review departmental programs to develop future department heads.
• Conduct daily visits to all departments to observe routine activities.
• Act as representative of the Area General Manager in their absence.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Area General Manager professionally and diligently.
