Job summary

The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts in Singapore is seeking a seasoned hotel executive to lead operations across the property, reporting to the owner/board. You will oversee budgets, guest experience, and sustainability while driving revenue growth and supervising department heads.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive leadership in luxury hotels, integrated resorts, or international brands.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of local and global hotel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations functions of the hotel per the organizational chart.
• Hold regular briefings and meetings with all head of departments.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards.
• Lead property issues including capital projects and refurbishments.
• Handle complaints and oversee service recovery procedures.
• Prepare and achieve annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan, and Capital Budget.
• Manage profitability, revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
• Make decisions in the best interest of the hotel management.
• Deliver budget goals and set short and long-term strategic goals.
• Develop improvement actions and cost-saving initiatives.
• Understand P&L statements and react with actionable strategies.
• Monitor daily business reports and adjust plans accordingly.
• Ensure monthly financial outlooks for rooms, F&B, admin, and general occur on target.
• Maximize room yield and hotel revenue through yield management.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for owners and stakeholders.
• Maintain department operations guidelines and updates.
• Lead guest experience design and deployment.
• Ensure a skilled, motivated workforce and emergency preparedness across departments.
• Support operations with supply chain, procurement, engineering, and safety.
• Implement legally compliant HR practices across reporting lines.
• Create yearly business plans with management and stakeholders.
• Ensure departmental budgets are prepared and controlled.
• Analyze revenue trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop yearly Sales & Marketing strategies with Executive Team.
• Drive sales activity to optimise commercial performance.
• Lead sustainability integration in operations.
• Monitor policy implementation to guide long-term corporate planning.
• Attend sustainability committee meetings as required.
• Take on other tasks as assigned by the owner.
