Job summary

Kerry Consulting in Singapore seeks a commercially driven General Manager to lead the hotel’s overall performance, operations and strategic direction on-site.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team across commercial, rooms, finance, engineering and HR, drive occupancy, and shape revenue mix while reducing OTA reliance.

Strong P&L ownership and Singapore market experience in a 200+ room internationally branded property are essential; Mandarin would be advantageous.

A leading internationally branded hotel in Singapore is seeking a commercially driven General Manager to lead the property's overall performance, operations and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

The General Manager will hold full P&L accountability and lead a multidisciplinary team across commercial, rooms, finance, engineering, security, HR and other hotel functions. A key priority will be strengthening the hotel's commercial performance, maintaining strong occupancy while evolving the business mix towards greater corporate and direct contribution. The role will focus on reducing reliance on OTA channels, developing corporate partnerships and optimising revenue opportunities through a strong understanding of market segmentation and channel mix. The General Manager will also maintain service and operational standards, develop the leadership team, and manage relationships with ownership, brand and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

You will bring a strong foundation in hotel Sales & Marketing, Commercial or Revenue, ideally having progressed from a senior commercial leadership role into broader hotel management. Current Singapore market experience, P&L ownership and exposure to a 200+ room internationally branded hotel are important. Strong communication, collaborative leadership and multidisciplinary experience are essential, while Mandarin capability would be advantageous.
