Job summary

THHG / Rucksack Inn in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Hostel Manager to oversee day-to-day hostel operations across properties. You will ensure safety, high guest satisfaction and efficient running of front office, housekeeping and facilities.

You will lead a small team, manage staffing, costs and revenue opportunities while upholding SOPs and brand standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years in hospitality operations.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hostel operations, including front office, housekeeping and facilities.
• Ensure SOPs and service standards are consistently followed and inspected.
• Manage guest requests, complaints and service recovery to maintain high satisfaction.
• Lead recruitment, training, scheduling and performance reviews for hostel staff.
• Monitor occupancy, rates and budget to balance guest experience with profitability.
