Job summary

BEAT. Hostel in Singapore is seeking friendly front desk associates to create a warm welcome at check-in and a memorable goodbye at check-out. You will act as a travel guide, host, and local friend while assisting guests with reservations, inquiries, and local recommendations.

Join a vibrant, diverse team across our Singapore and Bangkok properties; shift work including weekends and public holidays is required, with staff discounts across properties.

Qualifications

• Work experience at a Hostel/Hotel or similar e.g. Customer Service roles.
• Understanding of PMS System (e.g. Cloudbeds) and OTAs is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable personality.
• Highly-organised, good attitude, and proactive.
• Passion for hospitality and fostering meaningful guest experiences.
• Entry level may also apply.
• Required to work shift work including weekends and PH.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and make them feel at home throughout their stay.
• Perform all check-in & check-out tasks using PMS Software. Basic admin tasks (e.g. update guest details, ensure correct documentation, etc.)
• Handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests - online, in person, and via phone.
• Resolve guest issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with Housekeeping & Maintenance team to ensure all rooms and spaces are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
• Organise and promote social events, tours, and activities to elevate Guest Experience.
• Provide guests with key information, recommendations and local knowledge.
• Help create a lively, inclusive, and social vibe at the hostel.
• Assist in the administrative and marketing aspects of the hostel, when needed.
